MITRE has an immediate opening for a Full Stack Developer in McLean, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to develop front-end and back-end scalable software solutions supporting Intelligence Community challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience with front-end and back-end technologies and be able to work onsite in McLean, VA.

An Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities:

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will:

  • Support the development and deployment of applications to address sponsor challenges, with a willingness to adapt and learn.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Translate user requirements into robust, scalable, and efficient code.
  • Present your solutions in a clear and user-friendly manner that can be understood by all sponsor audiences, regardless of their technical expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science or computer engineering or similar field
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a FS poly.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
  • Proficiency in front-end and back-end languages (e.g. JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java).
  • Knowledge of at least one JavaScript framework (e.g. Vue, React, Angular).
  • Experience with Golang a plus
